Long Case (Grandfather) clocks are reliable and will last for years but need maintenance as the components can get dirty over time and need cleaning and oiling, repairs can be carried out to worn components to ensure that the clock in good condition to operate for many years more.
Dial Clocks
MAINTENANCE & REPAIR
Dial Clocks were more common in houses and have reliable workings but often these will clog up with dirt and need maintenance clean and oiling to get them running again.
Bracket Clocks
MAINTENANCE & REPAIR
Bracket clocks were a more affordable clock for a household to own so they are a more common clock than there bigger counterparts, these would be placed on a corner bracket shelf.
